Never expose any mount to direct sunlight, use only artificial light.

Never place your mount in high heat sources.

Never place your mount in wet, damp areas.

For wall hanging mounts, secure nail or screw in a stud or use a heavy duty drywall anchor.

When attaching your mount to the wall anchor hold the mount firmly, making sure the anchor is securly set
in place.

Carry horned and antlered mounts by one antler and at the bottom of the briscuit.

If the hair of your mount becomes pushed back, and out of place, mist with water and use a dog grooming
brush to lay correctly.
With todays modern tanning agents your trophy mount should last a life time, by keeping your mount in a controlled
envirorment, moderate tempatures, low humidity, artificial light, it will ensure the longest possible time for your mount.
Fish
If specimen is very dusty use an air compressor set to 25 p.s.i. to remove excess dust, gently blowing
from head to tail, avoid air pressure on the fins. Now take a lint free cloth and mist with Windex and gently wipe in long
smooth swipes from head to tail, repeat if necessary. Very gently use the cloth on the fins, wipe from the base of the fin
to the tip, careful or the fins could break.
Fin breakage can be repaired.
Birds
Using a feather duster make long smooth wipes from head to tail, repeat as long as needed. For Tight
areas use a soft tipped artist brush. Take a lint free cloth, mist with Windex and wipe the eye, bill and feet gently.
Shoulder Mounts and Lifesize Mounts
If very dusty use a vacum cleaner with a brush attachment and clean from head to tail, lower body
to the feet (follow the hair patterns) Take a lint free cloth and wipe down the entire mount with the same technique
as stated above, now if necessary mist cloth with Windex and repeat. Clean the cloth and mist with Windex again and wipe the
eyes, hooves and antlers if applicable.
